Bureaucracy sucks. Therefore I am moving everything to one blog. Why did I have four? Seemed like a good idea at the time. But not anymore. Hop on over to:

Everything will be continued over there.

Johnny drives the bus that I take home from work everyday. He’s a great guy. Always smiling and greeting people, wishing everyone a nice day. Even shakes my hand when I get on and off the bus. I wish every bus driver could be like him.
Who doesn’t like Greenberg and Golic? The fact that we share the same name only makes me like the show even more. I listen to these guys every single day, and watched them everyday on TV before I entered the real world and stated working in the mornings. They never disappoint.
The Hills, The Real World, The Real World Road Rules Challenge, and the America’s Next Top Model re-runs are merely the tip of the iceberg. An endless supply of entertainment.
They’re animated. That is awesome. AIM smilies are nice to, with the way that they bounce, but Gmail smilies also transform from the colon and parenthesis into their animated selves. They are animated transformers and I like them.
Anyone who has seen my desk at work can attest to this. It is literally covered with them. Without post-it notes I would not know what I was supposed to do. I used to use index cards, but the post-its give me the ability to stick them in inconvenient places to make sure that I don’t miss them.
I realized yesterday that there are a lot of things that I like. There are far too many to get them all down here, so I am issuing a blanket apology to all things that I like that I fail to specifically mention. Please remember that I like you!
I’m going to kick off Things That I Like with… Using The Third Person!
I’ve been known to use the third person from time to time. Sometimes I begin sentences with “The Messman…”, of course referring to myself. Now, if you overuse the third person it can be quite annoying and a little weird, but used just the right amount it can be a powerful tool. You just have to get a feel for it. This may seem like a random thing to like, but yesterday I came across this while reading an article about my favorite football team:
“Bizarrely using the third person to talk about himself, Warnock said: ‘It was a typical Neil Warnock performance because we were gritty and it was never say die.’”
Read that sentence without the “Neil Warnock” and see how weak it would be. Cheers Neil, for that great usage of the third person and for reminding me just how much I like it.
Hello! I’ve decided to create a blog that will highlight the things that I like. I’m a positive, cheery person and didn’t want to make a list of things that annoy me, or things that I don’t like, so I decided to do the opposite. I’ll post things I like whenever I feel like it, so be on the look out!
